It is the first public higher education institution established in 1971 in Palestine. Started with 1 bachelor degree program with 34 students, but now offers 45 bachelor degree programs, 11 master degree programs, and 11 vocational degree programs with more than 9500 students from all over Palestine. The university's vision is to become a well-known international university.
